The program for providing the best undergraduate STEM students in Armenian with scholarship and mentorship is presented. We discuss different merits of such a program, its methodology and expected outcomes. 

The discussion is based on our experience with such a program for  physics students at Yerevan State University. We outline challenges that we needed to address within our limited experience and present ways how the program can be successful if extended to all STEM disciplines.
