Abstract

While the rich Armenian artistic legacy is undeniable, often resulting in its mere sacralization and recurrent iconography, this group proposes to address the current methodological and conceptual challenges of Armenian visual, cultural, and material cultural heritage. By prospering to gather current scholars and practitioners engaged with the broadly defined Armenian visual and material cultures, this group aims to explore interdisciplinary methods and disciplines to reexamine this heritage critically.
