Abstract

Armenia faces significant water governance challenges, including inefficient (and unproductive) water management and largely unregulated transboundary water flows. Over the past three decades, Armenia's efforts to enhance its water governance, primarily driven by external support, have led to some progress but much intensive focus is needed to meet the dual stresses of climate change and the changing transboundary water flows.
